Tree Love is a fully licensed and insured tree care company serving Denver and the surrounding Denver area. We offer professional tree trimming, tree removal, stump grinding, stump removal and tree planting. Whatever your tree and shrub needs may be, we have a fully staffed and equipped team at the ready. Our tight knit crew is made up of safety conscious, hard working and detail oriented professionals. From the smallest lilacs to the biggest cottonwoods, our mission is to provide the highest quality care for our customers.

  • Alex Lutz "Big Al"

    FOUNDER, OWNER-OPERATOR

    Alex started his professional career at 18 years old as a land surveyor in New Mexico where he developed a passion for the outdoors and a knack for business and leadership. He went from survey crew leader to project manager to handyman and business owner. Plumbing, roofing, drywall, driveways… Alex can fix anything, but he found his true passion in tree work. Starting with forestry and fire mitigation, Alex has over 10 years of forestry and tree care under his belt. With a proven record of successful leadership, attention to detail and operation excellence, Alex leads the way at Tree Love to provide the best quality tree care and customer service.

  • Deane Long

    CO-FOUNDER, LEAD CLIMBER

    Deane graduated from CU Boulder with a degree in Environmental Science. A Colorado native, Deane grew up rock climbing and was brought into tree climbing by his disc golf partner, Owner-Operator of Tree Love, Alex Lutz. With a natural talent for climbing great heights and an education in plant biology, Deane is a seasoned tree climber leading the crew on the job.

  • Marc Duran

    HORTICULTURIST, PLANT HEALTH SPECIALIST

    Marc Duran has been an assistant propagator at Fort Collins Wholesale Nursery for 7 years and has a passion for creating new plants from cuttings and seed. He has spent time studying and teaching his knowledge of propagation and plant health at CSU. Tree and shrub health is what is most important to him and he believes in adapting to today's changing climate with cost for care and plant longevity in mind. Marc is excited to help suggest a health plan for your trees, from mitigating pathological issues to introducing more resilient species. Above all, he wants to provide the best care for your trees and shrubs to prevent future issues and damage as well as promote happy and healthy growth! From the resident horticulturist, Tree Love is what it's all about!
